A Cost Draftsperson is required for a busy law firm.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing statements of costs for allocation, listing and trial
- Ensuring all invoicing is correct
Must have experience in a similar role.
The salary for this position is negotiable.
We are currently seeking an in-house costs draftsperson.
We are looking for someone with experience of drafting both
private and legal bills, for family, civil and criminal cases, if possible.
Our expanding family department of almost twenty staff, including seven fee earners require cost drafting support, on hand, for both private and publicly funded bills. This would range from simple Legal Help and Claim 1 file costing, to complex bills for large complex cases such as care cases where bills extend to many tens of thousands of pounds. Also the preparation of high cost case plans and dealing with all aspects of the Assessment process.
We require a high standard of work, with attention to detail and
procedure and a strong commitment to our aim to provide exceptional
client care at all levels.
